Stovetop Brown Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups brown rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger or squeeze ginger
- 2 teaspoons turmeric
Instructions
- Rince rice and drain.
- Boil water, oil, salt, ginger and turmeric.
- Add rice and reduce to simmer.
- Cover and simmer on low for 45 minutes. Don’t take lid off to stir!
