Basic Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add potatoes and boil for 15 minutes.
- Heat butter and milk in a small saucepan until butter is melted.
- Mash potatoes, milk and butter.
- Season with salt and pepper.
