Baked Lobster Tails
Ingredients
- 4 3-ounce lobster tails
- 6 Tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Using kitchen shears, cut down the outside center of the tails from the base to the tip, being careful not to cut through the fins at the end.
- Separate the meat from the inside of the shell, lifting up and out from inside the shell. (You might need a spoon for this.)
- Make a shallow cut through the center of the tail and peel the top layer over the sides.
- Melt butter.
- In a small bowl, combine butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, parsley and lemon juice.
- Brush mixture over tails.
- Bake for 12 minutes, until lobster is cooked but not rubbery.
- Melt additional butter and serve.
