Stir-fried Baby Bok Choy
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 pound baby bok choy
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- salt to taste
- fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 1/2 Tablespoons sesame oil in a wok over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add bok choy and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add soy sauce and sugar and cook for 1 minute.
- Add broth, cover and simmer for 2-3 minutes until leaves are dark green.
- Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil and salt and pepper to taste.
