Broccoli Cheese Chowder
Ingredients
- 2 chopped red potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 10 ounces fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups fresh chopped spinach
- 8 ounces shredded smoked gouda cheese
- 3 Tablespoons flour
Instructions
- Combine potatoes and broth in a large pot.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium.
- Simmer covered for 8 minutes.
- Light mash.
- Add broccoli and milk and return to a simmer.
- Add the spinach.
- Toss the cheese and flour in a bowl.
- Gradually add the cheese to the pot, stirring until cheese melts.
