Easy Wonton Soup
Ingredients
- 20 frozen pot stickers
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 2 inches fresh ginger, quartered
- 1/8 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Boil water in a large saucepan.
- Add frozen pot stickers and return to boiling.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Drain and rinse with cool water.
- Combine broth, carrots, onions and ginger in another large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium.
- Simmer covered for 4 minutes.
- Remove the four pieces of ginger and discard them.
- Stir sesame oil into the pot.
- Divide pot stickers into soup bowls and ladle broth mixture over the top.
