Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 32 ounces baby carrots
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
- Spoon carrots into serving bowl.
- Remove juices to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl until blended.
- Stir into saucepan.
- Boil 1 minute or until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Pour over carrots.
