Popovers
Notes
Not flaky enough. Try cooking for 25 minutes at 350.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Beat eggs in medium bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Grease 6-cup popover pan with shortening.
- Divide the batter evenly between the cups.
- Bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 25 minutes.
- Immediately remove the popovers from the pan and serve hot.
