Oven Roasted Pork Shoulder
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 3 Tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2 Tablespoons salt
- 2 Tablespoons freshly ground pepper
- 4 pound pork shoulder picnic roast
Instructions
- Mix oil, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Coat all sides of the roast.
- Roast for 20 minutes in the oven at 425 degrees.
- Reduce heat to 325 degrees.
- Roast until the meat is 180 degrees (about 4 hours).
- Remove from oven and cover with foil.
- Let the roast sit for 30 minutes before carving and serving.
