Steamed Cornish Game Hens
Ingredients
- 2 Cornish Game Hens
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 2 springs rosemary
- salt
- pepper
- 2 teaspoons butter
Instructions
- Season hens with salt, pepper and sage
- Place rosemary inside each hen
- Wrap each hen tightly in foil
- Bake on a baking sheet at 350 degrees for 1 hour
- Remove hens from oven and increase heat to 425 degrees
- Carefully open foil and brush melted butter on hens
- Return to the oven with foil still open and brown for 7 minutes.
